Dry farmed

Wines from vineyards who do not irrigate their vineyards except under emergency circumstances. For example: a heat wave or drought which would kill their vines. Most wines from France are, by law, dry farmed. Dry farmed wines do not provide any health benefits as some snake oil salespeople would have you believe.
