BURGUNDIAN-ESQUE TREE FRUIT, WHITE PEPPER & CHALK The Ried Rosenberg vineyard is arguably the crowning jewel of Austria’s historic Donauland, responsible for some of the most exceptional Grüner to be found anywhere. This one, from perfectionist winegrower Toni Bauer, is assertively aromatic and lush with round, balanced fruit, vibrant acidity, and the distinctive white pepper notes that are often a hallmark of great Gruner. The vineyard’s distinctive soil lends an impressive mineral complexity. Serving Suggestion: Arctic char w/ Meyer lemon, fresh cilantro & soba noodles.
