Hailing from the Moriers climat (a prized cru within this possibly most prized of all Beaujolais crus), 45-year old vines struggle to thrive in the austere granite soil they call home, whose notable pink hue is an almost-visible artifact emerging through the vibrantly berryish, resplendently spicy finish.
