MANGO, MANDARIN & EARL GREY, SPICY, JUICY & INTENSE Located in Solvenia’s Lower Styria, the small village of Ritoznoj is where you’ll find Izidor (Dorcha) Vehovar. Often found wandering through the mountains of Pohorje foraging for mushrooms, aging his own cured meats in the cellar, and finally, yes, tending to his vines and making low intervention wines from native varieties. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, three weeks spent with skins of the aromatic Gelber Muskateller and spicy Traminer, then five months on the lees in tank to round things out and add some richness, a wild and wonderful wine indeed.
