BLACK CHERRY, BLACKBERRY, CARBON, CANDLE. SUPPLE & COMPLEX This single parcel wine, from an incredibly rocky vineyard site called “Dolomitas,” shows the tastes of the soil in which the vines are planted. This powerful and complex wine expresses the magnesium rock soil with smoky iron aromas. Following the heritage of the monastery that originally planted this vineyard, this wine is made using their original 13th century fermentation amphorae. Serving Suggestion: Slow roasted lamb marinated in thyme, rosemary, garlic and white wine, served with paella made with the pan drippings from the lamb.
