PEACH BLOSSOM & STRAWBERRY, TONGUE-TINGLING, ZESTY MINERAL Grolleau Gris is the lighter-skinned variant of a once-ubiquitous Loire grape responsible for many crisp rosés and light-bodied reds, yet it’s not often encountered. Made in very limited quantities, this rendition makes up for all the years that we didn’t know what we were missing. It’s a not-quite-effervescent white with mouthwatering acidity, summer citrus, and the shockingly low alcohol content of 8.5%. Serving Suggestion: Sushi w/ red snapper, salmon, pickled plum, & cucumber. Fried fish tacos w/ radish slaw. Vegetable bibimbap w/ fried egg & mild sauce.
