Companhia das Lezírias, Tejo Tinto "Samora", Tejo, Portugal 2016
40% Tempranillo, 35% Syrah, 15% Touriga Nacional, 10% Alicante Bouschet

DARK, RICH, SPICY, FULL-FLAVORED, CRUSHED BERRIES
From the south of Portugal, coming from the Tejo region, formerly known as Ribatejo, we have this full-flavored red from the Samora Correia area. This has to be one of the best-tasting, best-value red wines around. Just three months of oak aging rounds out the tannins, and gives us a spicy, dark, rich red with flavors of ripe, crushed berries just begging to be shared with something from the grill.
Serving Suggestions: Grilled burgers or pork sausages w/ lots of spices. Grilled portabella mushrooms tossed w/ sun-dried tomato pasta. Beef stroganoff.
