"Labrusca" is the variety’s ancient name, from the Latin labrum meaning "edge," as it is believed that the grapes grew naturally around the edges of fields cultivated by Italy’s ancient people, the Etruscans. This is a fantastic, light-hearted, and refreshing bubbly red with lots of character and versatility. Serving Suggestions: Lasagna alla bolognese, tagliatelle w/ ragu & tortellini en brodo.
