Melsheimer, Riesling "Lentum", Mosel, Germany 2017 {biodynamic} 100% Riesling RIPE & FULL W/ BALANCING ACIDITY. LIME & HAZELNUT Thorsten Melsheimer is the product of five generations of winemakers, working on the steep slopes of the River Mosel. This region is uniquely warm for Germany, which results in fantastically fruity wines with stunning depths of flavor. “Lentum,” Latin for “slow,” refers to its extremely long fermentation period (34 months!), Thorsten’s way of allowing this wine to develop as it finds its own path in its own time. Serving Suggestion:Korean banchan: smoky eggplant namul, gochujang cucumbers, spicy green onion salad, or kimchi pancakes. Spicy chicken curry w/ mango & ginger. Lobster tails w/ curry butter.
