CONCENTRATED BLACK PLUM, ROBUST OAK, COFFEE & HERBS Ann and James Frost revolutionized and expanded these vineyards at the turn of the millennium, established decades earlier by Ann’s parents of Prussian nobility. Her father’s name, "Baron Gustav Von Furstenberg," is one to live up to, and this bold red succeeds. Combining Bordeaux native Merlot with Portugese champion Touriga Nacional, this wine plays out like a bolder, fruitier offering from the Haut-Médoc or Pomerol, unabashedly ambitious and modern. Most impressive! Serving Suggestion: Lamb ribs w/ whiskey sauce, shallots, garlic, & asparagus. Tempeh stir-fry w/ shiitakes, green peppers, & soy sauce w/ black rice.
