Finca Sophenia, Chardonnay "Altosur", Tupungato-Mendoza, Argentina 2021 100% Chardonnay
LIGHTLY GOLDEN, CITRUSY, HINTS OF OAK & BUTTER Altosur’s Chardonnay hits the perfect balance between acidity and fruit, and is very light-handed in the wood and butter department to boot. These high altitude vineyards give us grapes with fantastic ripeness, and so a lovely round wine with a lingering finish. Full tropical fruit and apple flavors are accented with delicate minerality. The winemaking here is stellar, in a style that is flavor-forward but never overboard. Serving Suggestion: Chupín de pescado- fish stew w/ potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, wine, & herbs. Pappardelle w/ creamy avocado sauce & fresh basil.
