BLACK RASPBERRY & DRIED MISSION FIG, VIOLETS & CARAMEL This expansive yet energetic Grenache (Garnacha, of course, in its naive Spain) is one of the most powerful reds we’ve carried in BIB (Bag-In-Box format aka “box wine" or "boxed wine”). Bodegas Tempore is passionately organic, and we’ve been swooning over their fantastic values since we met them in the late aughts. Stylistically, this is Rhone-meets-Rioja with powerful ripe fruit, spice, and caramelized/vanilla richness. Pump it up! Serving Suggestion:Morcilla / blood sausage (or fatty, flavorful salisbury steak if you’re a blood-hating wuss) w/ boiled & subsequently fried potatoes & sliced beets w/ parsley. Savory ricotta-fig toast w/ black truffle-infused olive oil (this is that kind of box!).
