Cider has always been an integral part of life in Asturias. Cider and cider products (such as cider vinegar and apple juice) have driven the economy here since the 18th century. It’s a common folk remedy used by traditionalists to treat anything and everything from emotional ills to chest colds to kidney stones. In 1925 Emilio Trabanco took his hobby professional and began making dry, natural ciders.
Serving Suggestion: Low alcohol fun with tapas, olives, air dried meats and jovial friends. Splash it over a glass of cava. Get cozy and add it to a warm cup of chai tea. Mix it with reposed tequila, bourbon, or ginger beer.
