Truchard Vineyards, Chardonnay, Carneros, CA 2021 {sustainable} Chardonnay
QUINCE, GREEN APPLE, GENTLE SPICE & FLORALS, MEYER LEMON Tony and Jo Ann Truchard founded this 400 acre estate in southern Napa in 1989, though the family’s winemaking history stretches back over a century ago when brothers Jean Marie and Anthony Marie Truchard emigrated from a small town outside of Lyon, France to establish a winery in Southeast Texas. The grapes come from the coolest blocks on the estate, producing an impeccably balanced, bright and complex wine. Serving Suggestion: Cedar plank salmon w/ shaved brussel sprout salad. Mustard-crusted pork tenderloin w/ apple-cabbage slaw. Crispy cauliflower tacos w/ cashew crema.
