SUPPLE VIOLETS, BLACKBERRY AND SPICY ASH The Garofoli family has been making wine for five generations. Today, they strive to preserve the traditional methods of winemaking while at the same time incorporating modern advances in techniques. We haven’t had a dud wine yet from this estate, and this is the boldest offering we’ve tasted from them yet. It’s a rich, balanced Montepulciano, aged in oak for at least a year, that’s fruit forward, dry, and sturdy. Serving Suggestions: Grilled lamb w/ a lemon juice & garlic marinade. Wild mushroom pizza w/ fontina & rosemary. Zuppa di lenticchie- hearty Italian lentil & vegetable soup.
