RIPE STRAWBERRY, INTENSELY BLOSSOMY FRAGRANCE, REFRESHING Piquepoul Noir, an ancient Mediterranean grape best known through its lighter-skinned mutation (typically called Picpoul), was once much more prominent. Traceable to the 1300s, the variety is now most often encountered in small percentages in high-end Chateauneuf-du-Pape blends. This exotic rosé, however, offers a rare opportunity to experience it solo. Spice, zesty, berryish fruits, and mouthwatering acidity seal the deal, guaranteeing a fantastically refreshing finish. Serving Suggestion: Monkfish bouillabaisse w/ saffron & fennel. Jerk sweet potato & black bean curry w/ roasted red peppers.
