RIPE BLACK FRUITS, PURPLE FLOWERS, FRESH BAKED PASTRY A newer arrival from François LeClair and his son Vincent continues their tradition of producing wines with unrivaled freshness. These thirty-five year old Gamay vines, combined with Vincent’s use of partial carbonic maceration and shunning of sulfites, come together to create a cuveé that is replete with violets and ripe black raspberries. A smattering of black pepper, sweet baking spices, and fennel pollen finish off the bouquet. Balanced and bright, this bottle will be gone before you know it. Serving Suggestion:Spanakopita (Greek spinach pie). Cedar plank salmon w/ brown sugar-dijon mustard glaze. Turkey sandwich at lunch after spending the morning working in the garden.
