Quinta de Sant’Ana, Arinto, Lisboa, Portugal 2020 {organic} 100% Arinto LEMON CURD, QUINCE, SPICY OAK, DRY Blending two different vintages of Arinto due to such tiny harvests, both aged in old oak barrels, Quinta de Sant’Ana has created this voluptuous beauty. It’s redolent of preserved Meyer lemon, quince, and apricot preserves, lightly floral and nutty, and has a certain piña colada-esque quality, wrapped in a gentle robe of spicy vanilla, and finishing with a palate-cleansing, focused acidity. If you like drinking Arinto and getting caught in the rain… Serving Suggestion:Seared scallops w/ a lemon beurre blanc. Mustard greens sauteed in olive oil w/ crushed red pepper & soy sauce.
