LEMON & FLORAL AROMAS. ELEGANT, SUBTLE, BRIGHT. In the 14th century the poet Boccaccio listed the consumption of Ribolla Gialla as one of the sins of gluttony, but if drinking this wine is wrong, we don’t want to be right! Indigenous to Italy and found mostly in northeastern Friuli, the grape is also found in Slovenia under the name Rebula. This example is a paragon of understated elegance, with delicate minerality, clean flavors, satisfying acidity, and a lingering finish. Serving Suggestion: Crab spaghettini w/ lemon gremolata & red chili flakes. Tomato cucumber salad w/ fresh dill fried capers. Prosciutto & arugula pesto pizza.
