BRAMBLY RED & BLACK FRUIT, BAKING CHOCOLATE & RHUBARB, FUN FUN FUN! In the fizzy sea of Lambrusco, the Alberici family is the only one commercially growing the Lambrusco di Fogarina grape. They saved it from extinction, in fact, on their tiny estate – only making around 10,000 organically-grown bottles a year. This a completely dry, unfiltered Lambrusco, perfectly suited to an afternoon in the shade. Bubbles always make for a fun wine, and red bubbles crank the fun to 11. It’s one higher. Serving Suggestion: Cured meat and aged cheese – sopressata, prosciutto, Spanish chorizo, Parmigiano Reggiano, Manchego, Comté … Don’t forget the fig jam!
